How we live in a new world
Jesus has brought a boundless new territory to our midst, commonly known as the kingdom of heaven. Its characteristics are largely a mystery, as it’s an invisible spiritual realm until we materialize it with God, and one that operates according to principles vastly different from the world around us. Part of our mission is to navigate this territory together, being mindful of common stages in the journey while also recognizing the beauty of each believer’s unique path. Ultimately we seek to know Jesus and to help others receive His salvation and live it out here and now.
Upon beginning His ministry, Jesus declared, “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.” (Matthew 4:17) This is an appropriate foundation for our work as well.
